The weekend of the computer…

Monday, October 31st, 2005

Ok, so the title is a bit misleading.  We did lots this weekend, but the neat stuff for me dealt with the computer.  First, we signed-up for iTunes and downloaded an episode of LOST that we missed a few weeks back.  It took 3 days to fully download, because:
1) We have the equivalent of WiMax, [...]

I have enrolled in a re-yankeefication program of eating Sabretts Hot Dogs and drinking “cawffee” at a diner with stark raving mad driving techiques thrown in for old times [...]

I cancelled my Blackberry email service last night, so if you were sending email to it, I won’t get it anymore.

Well, since I brought it up…

On Evolution and such.  Mr. funk made a response that I felt was worthy enough to be responded to, then I realized that such a response isn’t easiliy seen.  So, here it is.  And of course, I expect lively debate and discourse…
p.s - I have a natural selection category that I’m saving to use on rants [...]

First sonogram today

Monday, October 24th, 2005

We went in for the first (and possibly last) sonogram of squishy today. Yes, our developing child is currently called squishy. Our 2-year old was instrumental in that decision (for a while he would insist on watching Nemo every day. We didnt’ let him, but needless to day, We have it memorized).
Well, [...]

More site frustration

Monday, October 24th, 2005

So I had this thought this weekend: let’s set up additional email accounts for the blog.  So I did.  The blog’s official email address is:  redswingline.blog@gmail.com.
And there was much rejoicing.  Then I looked for how to get it to stay on the screen.  I am still looking…
The other email addy was setup to use the site’s [...]

It bothers me that the only witness to the defense in the trial in PA regarding the presentation of Intelligent Design in schools is a Lehigh Biochemistry Professor. I freely support the notion that people have the right to believe in whatever they want. I just don’t like it that a person employed [...]
